Ultrasound System

Background
The Birmingham VA Medical Center, through the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 7, is conducting market research to gather information regarding the procurement of an Ultrasound System.

This Request for Information (RFI) aims to assess the availability of businesses, particularly Service-Disabled and/or Veteran-Owned entities, that can provide insights on solutions, best practices, and potential contractual arrangements related to the requirement for an Ultrasound System.

Work Details
The Birmingham VA Medical Center is seeking to procure items related to the Arrow VPS Rhythm DLX Device system or equal items.

The system features integrated ultrasound, navigation, and tip confirmation capabilities that assist in the safe and effective placement of PICCs (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters), CVCs (Central Venous Catheters), and other types of vascular devices.

The contractor is required to furnish all personnel, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to provide the requested items as detailed in the salient characteristics and technical specifications. Respondents are encouraged to review the draft Salient Characteristics and Technical Specifications documents provided before responding.

The performance will take place at the Birmingham VA Medical Center located in Birmingham, Alabama.
